Which one should I buy?
I am starting from nothing. Where do I begin?
The Essential Saudi Dialect Book, at Level 1. It is built as three levels rather than a phrase list, and Level 1 is written for someone who landed this week - greetings, taxis, coffee, numbers, asking for help. Read the free chapter first; it costs nothing and it is the real thing rather than a preview.
What is the difference between the book and the series?
The Essential Book takes you from your first 48 hours to holding a real conversation, in three levels, and doubles as the thing you look phrases up in afterwards. The Self-Study Series is slower and more thorough - three books with exercises after every section and a WhatsApp group where you can ask a teacher.
